Tell me more details how u want it..i can put up in the afternoon..:)

Information published on yesterday's ST....most probably we have to wake up early, meaning 5am to be at starting point to shoot the race or we can go around 9am at the finish point. I think its at Padang.

Thinking the same thing. Prefer he get prime...sharper and lighter. :)

definitely!! Primes are always the best!

..., 6k, 7k, 8k, 9k, 10k, 11k, and still counting..

All gears for Big Canon ..

Wah lao thanks.. was looking at the 80-400mm Sigma with OS.. cost SGD2K.. more worth leh..

Either getting this 400mm prime or the 100-400mm zoom, there is one more very important advantage other than getting sharper pictures....

You will definately slim down after several outings ...
Haaaa.. wah lao.. sure.

Big MA MA!
Falconite, train your muscles.
Okie... one Rambo in the making

good choice..

There are actually other models that is with OS ( Optical Stabaliser ), very useful.
Yeah.. 80-400mm EX DG OS... at CP at $2050

Why not this?

Sigma APO 50-500mm F4-6.3 EX DG HSM

Both are Rear Focusing and 86mm. This one can have longer coverage and can use TC well. But unless u r mounting on tripod, both won't be a good choice. I tried both during the show that day and decided to forgo the choice for Sigma 80-400mm OS.

good choice..

Simga APO 80-400mm F4.5-5.6 EX DG OS

So far, this's the only Sigma lens with OS. Rear Focusing with 77mm. Good choice for coverage and can use with TC. Cost around 1.8K at MS color. For me, I going for Nikon as it's an identical range and strength. Around 500 bucks difference.

I can lent you, but what happen if two person want to use the same time.:sweat:
How about a monopod for you.

Enlightement Please.

Longer zoom lenses usually experience image distortions on the tele ends, and its more noticeable for high powered zoom lens..the best is go for primes! :bsmilie:

Agreed..that's why my longest lens is a prime and lighter. :bsmilie:

I'll bring mine but it can't handle heavy weight. I just borrow from u just in case mine can't handle the total weight of Lens and Body (With flash).

We'll work out the workflow on that day so that there's no overlap and good coverage of the concert.

Ok, never use monopod but can try. Oh, will burn a copy of the pics i took for the graduation for u.

:complain:show off liao lor...give me the moola and i shall get all primes...:bsmilie:

Don't need lah, save and get 1 prime lens all rounder. Sigma APO 200-500mm f2.8.....
