Question : Would you use a Raynox 250 closeup lens or would you use an extension tube for macro.. why? Okie Lets not talk about the convinience.. lets concentrate on the picture quality.... ???

close up lens:
You will most likely get distortion if the close up lens quality is not so good, especially at the corners ( distortion is unavoidable ). However, the light fall off is not that great ( strong point ).

extension tube:
Light fall off is a lot ( depending on the length of extension tube ). Cannot focus to infinity. But image quality ( as per menufacturer claims ) remains unchanged because there is no added elements into it light path.

Quite true. The extenstion tube i used quite jialat...... Still working around it.
