"Between September and March, visitors get their best chance to see birds that are not native to this part of the world. This is because it is migratory season for birds from northern areas such as Siberia, and the animals stop over here on their way to warmer climes such as Malaysia and Australia. Then, the wetland is a pit-stop for up to 3,000 migratory birds on any day, including the Pacific Golden Plovers, which alight in flocks of hundreds while doing aerial acrobatics, and Redshanks, with their red legs, that can be seen foraging for food in the mudflats..."

Between Sept and March means Nov falls between these months. I think...

Just checked out the fortnightly forecast:

Here's what it says:

WEATHER OUTLOOK FOR (15-30 NOVEMBER 2007)

Many parts of the Southeast Asia region have already come under the influence of Northeast Monsoon since the beginning of November 2007. The Northeast Monsoon Season usually affects Singapore in the late November or early December. The winds over Singapore for the next fortnight should continue to blow mainly from the west or northwest. The rest of the month will probably be wet for Singapore with rainfall staying significantly above average.

During this period, Singapore could expect widespread showers on 3 to 4 days, occurring with gusty wind condition in the predawn hours or morning. In addition, short-duration moderate to heavy showers are likely in the afternoon and early evening on 5 to 6 days.
