Hey guys, I've been enough to Seletar Dam.. as mentioned, there's always cars around on weekend and eves... anyway, the ice-cream truck didn't frequent there as often. It's also pretty dark as street lamp are higher up and far in between.

I've suggested the MSCP basically because of lighting condition since we're gonna have both cars and models. With more ambient lights, it's easier to balance the lighting between subject that reflect lights and subject that don't.

This peekture is just taken few minutes ago using 100mm @ f5.6 for 1.3 sec (ISO400) diagonally accross the street from my bedroom windows,

Notice that the lamps are closer to ground than most street lamp and they are WHITE... not your run of the mill sodium filament.

I have taken some picture in MSCP before, here's just an example of a gathering a couple of months back...it is not a photoshoot, just gathering at T3 for makan and tcss..

The details of the paintwork still comes up pretty good, and you can venture to smaller aperture like the one below to highlight the angel eyes..

OK, the last photo has gone through some digital processing, but if you use larger aperture, I can't even reproduce the angel eyes as the headlamp will be blown...(Note, all these pictures are taken around midnight)

Just a suggestion for your consideration... there are very nice commercial MSCP where you can really manipulate with angles and such to achieve nicer background...but of course, parking charges applies...

I just went to marina see see look look. I think we left with the open space car park and the place is quite dark. If we want to take photo with clear view of car, don't think it will be as clear as Camel suggestion.
