I need opinion with regards on sigma 10-20mm versus tokina 11-16mm. sigma is f4 and tokina is F2.8 , since I have nikon 12-24 f4 should i get one of these ultra wide. Going to use for landscape and Infrared shots. Anyone has these lenses to test for hotspot on infrared red camera.

why get another DX lens when u already have 12-24? next time upgrade to FX then gotta sell one more lens. :)

use the money for this lens, sell the 12-24 to get the 14-24...woohoo...

dun speak to macro frantic like dis buttie.. hhehehe

asking mah, how he get rid of the shadows. :)

A true work from master jedi.

Well.. we do learn from each other right? Haaa

Royaux - To minimize shadow, one can buy the expensive ring flash or macro flash.. another way is to properly diffuse the lights... One effective way (shared with , by SteveWhy.. true macro master) is to cut a film of that whitish plastic from Meiji Milk bottle .... crafted so that it can sit onto the end of the lens (with help of rubberband)... being so close to the subject, the on-board flash on it will diffuse the light nicely to rid alot of the disturbing shadow... hope that helps.

Hey mike... there are only a couple of masters here... and i am not on the list. Keke.. hopefully in time to come..
