Hey guys and lady (blazer, cckue, Feb, KT, Juste, coolsigg, zaxh81, woofmy, Strife...) .. thanks for the encouraging words.
To answer some of the asked question....
The butterfly is really big, so using the 100mm on the 5D is adequate. No further closeup or extension used. Its the sharpest also I think.. without further addition... The possibility of getting so close , if you noticed the crumpled wing... is that it had just hatched... (now dress like a catepillar would be deadly... I was called a fat worm recent.. haaa). Its possible as the somewhat near Chinese New Year.. i saw the caterpillars on my mum's lime plant (seng kum plant) and had been waiting for sometime. So the corridor was my studio that lucky morning.
Nothing special on the flash... just Ronald's recommened foam diffuser and 580EX. No mono or tripod as its so difficult to position.... so the rest is all luck. Thanks again... I will post in the macro thread... and list the settings shortly...
