just got back my 17-35mm lens from the service center. Needed some test shots.
send my daughter to school this morning and took some shots on the way home. The sky is much better today, not so gray..... some nice cloud formation is there already :)

I can see some leaves are turning orange, many are falling off the branches too...
quite a nice color actually.

hi Muscle man,

I went to Thaipusam for shoot that day, climb over a barricade ... while landing on the ground, the 17-35mm fell off my waist from my unzipped pouch , the lens landed on the concrete and roll a few rounds... tuck tuck tuck.... all the photographers around me eyes big big looking at me ...

lucky I have my lens hood and caps all intact. No lens crack, only hood and rear cap is stretched. The motor is still working, but the rear element is dis-engaged , hence the rear element is not rotating.

I went to CSC for servicing , realignment , calibration and cleaning. Took me 2 weeks and cost me $107.00
