Wah.. its investment in the right perspective!!
If you are thinking of buying the lens.. then use the lens to shoot and then earn some money... you are also wrong. :nono:
David Ward ( a world famous photographer ) once said :
I was desperate to photography the nature world but knew that I couldn't make a living photographing landscapes. A decisive moment when I spent a day with Paul Wakefield, the great landscape photographer. He persuade me that I should try and live my dream and that working on large format would be the way forward. And twenty years on I've realized that I was right and that there's no money in landscape photography!

The decision to put hard earned money to the lens that Reddie just bought was one that have taken considerable planning and weighing.. especially at this junction in time. It signifies NOT that he is immediately coming into photography trade and be pasting adverts of his service in the forum... but so long as he derives pleasures and further his skills in the craft.. it already is pay-back to him.. not strictly on monetary value bro...
Don't get me wrong. Investment can expect returns of intrinsic values.. (also not necessary XMMs' love and company.. thou i have an inclination for this reason..) Ha....
I loft to think.. LMM? Wahaaaaa u freaked me bro!well said... any sound investment (except if you buy junk bonds) will see some form of return... it could be financial, mental health, exercise, new skill, personal satisfaction, XMM/LMM's love... etc. etc.![]()
