thanks bro, I did saturate the color a little and reduce the contrast also... and thats about it..
I guess its the CCD sensor that makes some difference in the color reproduction. not sure. My knowledge is limited also. sorry.

fWah... nize one Billy, she is very cute, was wondering, could it be a little front-focused? I'm experiencing the same with my manual lenses, hard to get the crispy sharp image.

err... not sure about weather front focus or not. The shot was deliberately taken using F2.8 for a softer effect ( personal preference ), hence its not so sharp.

yes, you are perfectly correct. Most of these big glass lens will be soft ( not so sharp ) when wide open F1.2 ~ F2.0 . They normally reaches the peak sharpness about F2.8 to F5.6. Unless you get those Leica or CarlZeiss most expansive range lens, then they are sharp all the way...

Well, I like softer effect with portraits...
