Anyone know whats the price running for 17-50VC Canon mount?
A friend of mine just bought one from SLR Revolution @ Funan . . . $618 incl. of GST (cash price) . . . 3 yrs local warranty . . . think it comes with an NTUC voucher too once you register for warranty, not sure how much though
EDIT: my bad, he bought the NON-VC one . . . anyway not worth paying that much more for the VC version, imho

Worth or not worth, when someone can shoot at 1/5s, handheld, a sharp photo & you can't then will you stil think is it worth extra $300 more for the good memories:devil:

Slightly noisy, focuses pretty quick, needs to get used to the VC.... other than that.. very pleased with the outcome...
The shop I went brought in 4pcs, while I bought the 3rd one... No focusing issues so far...

Seems like the price for 17-50/2.8 VC in Spore is damn high considering other alternative places are selling like what SGD 770- SGD 820?
3 yrs warranty? Well, I for one am not that kiasu & will definitely not pay such premium to enjoy the 'extended' peroid vs elsewhere 1 yr. SGD 200 bucks diff, I'd take my chances..hahahhahaha.
