Tamron SP AF28-75mm F/2.8 or AF 17-50mm F/2.8 XR Di II LD

i had bought a tamron 17-50 from bns. Quite happy with it. But what is the with or without motor you all talking bout? How do i check my set is with or with motor? Any major diffs?

Don't worry, they're talking about the Nikon mount of the lens. All Canon-compatible EF/EF-S lenses have motor, and the Tammy has a motor for the 450D. No major differences.

Apparently the focusing for the second generation Tammy (i.e. in-built motor) is much slower than the first generation one. But yeah, more applicable for Nikon users.
