The announced Tamron 15-30mm f2.8 VC has now appeared in B&H already. Although price & availability is not out yet, this is a good start I guess.

I was wondering how many of you would go for this, would you? I think I would! A 15mm widest, f2.8 and IS some more I really hope the image quality will be good..... what say you?

I would too for this focal length, am waiting for the price, just realize it's 1.1kg, btw it looks really much like a sigma ART .

Any hint on the price range ?

Wow. For this price maybe I should just stick to the 14-24 which is tested and proven.

ya the price is high.... but it does have VC and slightly longer reach compared to the 14-24 at the expense of 1mm on the wide end

14-24 def proven, but REALLY excels in the 14-18mm range! :)
