Can borrow the calculator from the shop and focus at "5" on the number pad den zoom in to check which numbers on is sharp :think:

Try 17 @ F2.8 & 50 F2.8 etc

i just got my Tamron 17-50 f2.8 vc for canon mount. I reckon price in Indonesia is currently very competitive compared to neighbouring country. I've got mine for Rp. 5.200.000 (equiv to S$753).

They gave 1 year shop warranty (with their own stamped warranty card), if there is any problem just need to call them and send them the lens.

yes, there are few reputable shop in Jakarta and price is very competitive.

www.tokocamzone.com and www.jpckemang.com, and if you stay near mangga dua (near ITC) then there is this shop in orion dusit plaza (3rd floor, somewhere on the bridge towards ITC) a shop named WITA COM. They don't have website but prices they quote are even more reasonable (not all items though). For example I bought 7D body only for just S$2228. enjoy :thumbsup:

Is there Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 VC wihout built in motor ?

If all of this VC lens come with built in motor, is there a way to disable the motor ?

I am pretty sure that the motor from my D700 body is faster than Tamron motor :sweat:

I think this is a DX lens. So ur D700 will be crippled by it.
