Tamron Appreciation Thread...

I've had my AF 19-35/3.5-4.5 for the longest time.

Back then (10 yrs ago!), I paired it with my Nikon F55 and was my walkabout lens for touring Europe with a backpack.

Plastic body + plastic lens = lightweight

Was considering between the sigma and tamron and got the tamron 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Macro 1:2 and am quite impressed with the sharpness although many reviews seem to favour the sigma version. Was even more impressed with the value for money. good stuff. the autofocus motor is a bit slow and hunts a bit but still acceptable. erm anyway i'm preaching to the converted yah? :bsmilie:
