I checked at 17, 35 and 50mm.
Anyway do not be too paranoid over the focus test chart.
Lots of factors will affect the front/back focus results, so plus/minus abit is okie.
Most important is no focusing problems in "real world" shoot.
yeah, camera shake will definitely affect the results.
CP only has one left, so i immediately reserved it over the phone. :bsmilie:
Which branch you called?
Was at the Marina branch yesterday, saw they still have 1 set each for Nikon, Canon and Sony mount.
just got back from ParisSilk store.
got the lens and a Tokina optical filter for $640 total (paid by cash).
tested the lens and this looks like a perfect copy!![]()

You may be surprised that some "lesser known" shops will sell you the lens at a much cheaper price than the rest because they want to clear their stock of unpopular lenses. I am talking from personal experience, as I got one of my lenses $250 cheaper at a lesser known shop than the price a few other reputable shops quoted me. They even let me test out a few copies of the lens for the sharpest one. If you are afraid of being beaten up, ask someone to accompany you there. I think if you are a sincere buyer, they will be more than pleased to serve you. The worst thing to do is to test all the copies of the lenses, agreed on a price and later say "I don't want". If this is the case, I won't be surprised if they throw a durian at you.
Noob question here.
Can this lens work well on a Nikon D70?
Is the current price still @ $628 for CP?
Thanks.
