hehe, no problem. Interested in the lens but it's not a priority as I've got a Nikon 24-120VR & Tamron 24-135 SP already.

Thanks for the photos .. looks pretty good except that the second photo softer than the first. Was the second shot at F2.8 or due to slight shake?

Saw the 28-75 f2.8 at konota last week, just arrived then. Nikon mount. Tested it on F100, fast focusing and more silent than a nikon non AFS lens. its about 600+++. Go grad it from Nelson if its still there or maybe can call him first.

CP quoted 640 w/o GST. AP quoted 620 w/o GST. MS quoted "Have not arrived yet"

Wanted to get it BUT I want to really see how it perform. Sigma has a similar lens but many reviews indicate the performance is poor.

I think he is referring to the Sigma 28-70mm f/2.8, I read several poor reviews on it too.

Sigma has another at 24-70mm f/2.8 which is a little wider at 24mm.
