i have tried around 5 copies of nikon 80-200 f2.8 2 touch, both NEW and used, and all i can say is that all have left be disappointed.
The lens seems to have a problem at the min focussing distances at 1.5m-1.8m, focus runs alot and anything after the 135mm range, seem to have a back/front focus effect.
and yes, the M/A rings always breaks or eventually does.
so this really shook my confidence of the 80-200 and definitely affects my decision to get one, either step up to get a 70-200 VR which is way way off my budget, or to see how this new tamron 70-200 does.
