hi all,

I got one from Alan Foto for SGD580, but I found out it's severely front-focusing at 18mm, when focusing at subjects further than 3 meters.

What to do? Should I exchange it for another one (seems that they dont have no more though), or bring to Tamron for calibrating?

I'm not experienced on this, any help on where & what to do will be very appreciated.

Thank you

If you are in no urgency to use this lens...go back to Tamron to get it check and fix, as it's under warranty. It's probably easier and like you said AP may not have stock anymore, hence may have to wait a while. :)

Tamron Singapore can do service? I'm really not experienced about this.

How to do this? Should I bring to Alan Photo, or directly to Tamron?

direct to tamron.

two questions:

1.Is the Tamron service center is the address the warranty card is to be mailed?
2.Anyone have experience on how long it'll take to fix?

thanks

Tamron does not have a shop here but relies on it's distributor to service its lenses... send it back to the address on the warranty card. U might want to call them before u go down.
