Taiwan from my eyes

76. Jumpshot
After taking few minutes rests and few clicks on the park, I decided to continue the climb. Just when I'm about to start, they called me asking to help them to take the jumpshot picture.

77. Don't forget to see your back.
Though we should focus on the destination, don't forget to see your back, else you might miss this

84. Descending time to go to the next destination
This 2+ years old boy also climbed the mountain with his mom, the mom keep motivating him "jiayou..jiayou" (similar to ganbatte in japanese)

85. Silvergrass with mountain backdrop
Can't resist to stop at the base to take this lovely view of silvergrass field with a backdrop of blue sky and 2 small hill.
I wish I have a stair or go abit higher to get better view of the silvergrass view :(

Thanks for dropping by Calcjr23.
For this trip I bring Canon EOS 40D with 3 lens (10-22mm, 24-105mm and 70-300mm).
I guess it depends on the place that you plan to visit. For my case, I try to do as many hikking as possible and roam around the city in between to rest my leg hehe, and my lens usage on average will be as follow:
10-22mm : 15% usage (mostly for indoor / architecture shot)
24-105mm : 70% usage
70-300mm : 15% usage (mostly used during hiking and in the flora exhibition)

Hope this answer your question :)

88. Yangmingshan's Sea of clouds
I read in internet that sea of clouds happen more often in Alishan than Yangmingshan, so when I saw this from outside the forbidden marked gate, I immediately sneaked in to capture this :)
It's all happen very fast, within 2 minutes the clouds raising up to cover the mountain and the sky color change to dull grey. Only manage to get less than 5 shots. Guess I was really really lucky that day

Hey, is this the original 雪花冰 that you've got at 士林夜市?

47. Mango Milk Ice
The portion is sooooo big for 1 person, it took more than 30 minutes for me to finish everything.
The mango is sooo juicy and sweet and the ice is soo soft and milky, definitely will try more of this :)

Yes, I was there in March this year. The shop is super difficult to find. It's hidden in a small lane beside a cinema. The stall is called 辛發亭冰品名店. Address is 士林區安平街1號. They are the inventor of 雪花冰, so can't go wrong with their quality. Quantity is also . Price is definitely cheaper than Singapore lah...

I will definitely go there again if I visit Taiwan.
