Just a humble attempt.. :)

personally I like this design a lot. Thank u Gizmo

Its clean and a small logo should suffice. If we wish for more customisation, we can choose to print our names on the sleeves.

I do understand that some of us may prefer a polo tee, hence for the polo tee version, we can choose to do the same logo on the left breast area instead.

any comments?

It fun playing around with this (Plus search for those clip art from net)

A few of my creation on a slow lazy Friday afternoon TGIF ;)

Yes, I prefer a polo tee. Also, is it possible to have pockets on the Polo tee ?[/quote]

any comments?
Is it possible to have darker colours instead of white ?

Thanks

Ok, as PMed to wonglp & keith, since I cannot design, I have asked a graphic designer to assist.

It is a Polo T, with pockets in front (with the nick) and 2 mini pockets on the sleeves (one each). We need pockets because when doing shooting, these pockets are handy ...

Here's the design:

My graphic designer, came out with another 2 variations for consideration as follows:

Any comments ?

Cheers

Morning MFTians!

Not sure if this has being brought up.

If use names like "Olympus", "EM1", "Panasonic", "GH4" or even " Clubsnap" on the Polo/T-shirt, will the overzealous staff from those organization come slap a court order to remove it?

I use the word overzealous for those A-staff because they don't see the brands being marketed, but made-use for commercial purpose.

I would rather names and specific models not be printed because the fact is, some people constantly change their camera, making their shirt redundant, and as EisMann pointed out, there is possible repercussions later.

I find all the designs too flashy and busy. Polo tees are very hot in Singapore, dry fit not collared shirts would probably be better

Maybe at the end of this , we can just have :

Design 1 (polo)
Design 2 (tee)

For order placing

Colours for material wise still not firmed up yet but we will likely do black or white base. Too many colors on design will definitely lead to higher costs too.

Thing is I believe there's a min number needed for a reasonable price too.

I firmly agree on the point that names be printed if we WANT to have customization and that we should not have any specific camera model printed on it.

I had suggested sleeves as sometimes people can simply fold the corner up if they don wish to show the name portion off.

this logo belongs to who? Or it is as common as Happy Birthday song?

When comes to sourcing of Tee-shirt and small qty printing, I think of one place. Decathlon Singapore located in Chai Chee Industrial Estate between Kembangan & Bedok MRT stations.

Got to know this place when I could not find a pair of court shoes even in sport shops in Bas Brasah Complex for my daughter whose feet size in neitherland.

It was like Carrefour selling all types of sport gears like running, courts and hiking gear. They have single colour Tee Shirts too with no brand logos.

There was this corner offer printing service. The operator told me the price could not fight with mass printing.
Could not remember $6 or $8 per Tee. You can draw on the spot or pass the design to upload.

This could be one place for small qty printing as Keith pointed out where most shops will ask for MOQ before they warm up the printer or press.

It could be great to collar Polo Tee when it can be worn for both formal or informal event.

A dry fit, Polo Tee. White or black with the MFT logo (no bigger than US polo brand/logo size) in the opposite colours on the top left as proposed by Keith and your names on the right side of the sleeves.

It will have a Singaporean flavor if we can add " Clubsnap" below the MFT too.

BTW who is Simon?

Simon is basically one of the Admins of Clubsnap ;) in short , a super moderator

Simon is one of co-owner of ClubSNAP

Thanks but pardon my ignorance, I do not know who is Simon .... keith & wonglp can help ?

Simon (CS id "Simon") is an Admin and one of the owners of ClubSNAP.

Thanks for the ideas guys, will arrange a meetup with Keith on this and we can then set some polls to choose. MFT logo usage had been checked with Olympus Singapore and awaiting for their advice. Cheers!

Ok, my graphics designer came out with another options based on the feedback ...

so here it is, the various options & revised design :

cheers

Lose the hand, it's very ugly. And why use Keith's name? Micro four thirds logo on sleeve too big

I wouldn't put the CS logo at the solar plexus area. It lends emphasis to the tummy. When designing a t shirt, it's a good idea to keep any logos to a minimum. Especially if designing polo tees. Logos should be unobstructive and not be all over the place. Do note that with polo tees, any artwork is embroided and not screen printed.

Just saw this from Robin Wong's post in Facebook. :)

Also the min order qty and cost for embroidery is much greater than that of screen print.

Another revised design ...

The logo will be smaller if you think it is still too big ... the pens are there just to show that it is a pocket and not to show the length of the pocket ...

Keith's name in response to Keith's comments below:
