Actually I booked my hotel (in fact, all my hotel stays in Zermatt, Lucerne, Grinderwald and Geneva) through Internet booking. Most hotel will have the Matterhorn view but at a higher price. Since Sep is not really a peak season, I was lucky enough to get the room somemore cheaper than as in July or Augest.

I will definitely want to go back to Switzerland again but would like to visit Canana Rockie Mountains first. (Really in love with mountains  )

The morning shot was done with a Tripod from the Hotel room balcony. The rest were shot hand held.

Actually at Kleine Scheidegg, it's just a small pond not bigger than the size of a basketball court. No wind that day so the water was dead still. :)

I would like to thanks everyone for putting in the comments. Really appreciate them and hope that more people can share their Switzerland experiences and photos. It was the most fulfilling trip I have even been.

If you wish to know more about where, how to go and hiking/tracking information, I would be happy to provide you with useful documents and Internet links.

Just updated the pictures. :)

May i ask how long u travelled to zermatt? how many hours is it from zurich?

Thanks. From Zurich to Zermatt, the faster train connections will take you at least 5 hrs.

I stayed there for about 3 days. Enough time to view the peaks around but not enough time if you prefer tracking around the area. :D

Stunning pics you've got there !

Ever think of cropping the logs and rocks at the bottom of Lake Schwarzsee, Zermatt ?
