Nice close-up and tonal range. What animal is this?

I think it's a Common Eland, from the antelope family. We were mucking around with a 500mm and this guy came in waaaay too close.

Sorry guys it's been such a long while. Work has been really hectic and I haven't had the chance to do any shooting with the exception of a holiday in Hua Hin recently.

Here's one from the park next to KK Hospital. Taken with Fuji Sensia 200 on my trusty Xpan.

One from the Ge Tai event at Loyang today. It was a huge one, and held next to a temple named Loyang Tua Pek Kong! ;)

Good things in three's

nice framing! i live in loyang valley, the brick-y condo on the way to the loyang tua pek kong ;p

Thanks! I saw that place. Heard that Loyang Valley has quite a few staff from Singapore Airlines residing there. Is that true?:)

Yet another fruitless hunt for a good sunset today. Our exploration of Sentosa brought me to this eerie valley.

Landscape photographer Nelson Ong barely passes a weekend without going for a sunset hunt. Salt spray in his mouth, wind in his hair, he pronounced yet another sunset obscured by clouds!
