Beautiful picture and love those earthly tones...want to learn how to do it....can share you settings and what were the lighting conditions?...thanks.
Firstly he is a good photographer. And i am very sure many of the photographers here can shoot such beautiful photos too if they have the opportunity - firstly the environment is very important. In the under-developed regions, you get an ideal "environment" for dramatic settings with the nature (not man-made), like earth, trees, rivers, etc as well as the inhabitants (still natural and innocent as compared to the city-folks). Most of them have a very difficult living environment and as such their physical features have more characters compare to us, whose physical bodies are always covered by man-made clothing or man-made cosmetics. Go to the travel part of his site where some pics were taken in Singapore and compared to those taken in the "natural" environment, you can see clearly what i mean.
Not to mean anything bad, but clearly he has a good photographer's eyes to capture these beauties! My view is that we should try our best to travel and shoot such beautiful places now or in a couple of decades, there will be fewer less such places left in this world. Ten, twenty years ago, you can still find so many such places in Indonesia, China, India, etc. But now, it is very hard to find them because of economic developement. What a waste!

absolutely fabulous... "more than just sitting and smiling" indeed!

Excellent colours and contrast!! I love the whole atmosphere of the shots in your pbase site.

Any particular special method of post processing? I'm a post processing dummy.
