Hong Tu Di is quite well known amoung the local photograpers,
but i did not go to the earth forest

ya, 土鸡汤 is damm good, fixed my flu also

the soil will be red when there is enough moisture / rain
so May is normally the season

I was there too early in March to see this scene, was told during Aug/Sept the slopes will be more beautiful with colors .. :cry:

we went there twice, first day was very misty,
second time, it rained lightly, we waited and luckyily the sun came out

anyways, great shots.. i only dislike the second shot, mainly because of the blue/magenta tones even with the sun in the picture. my idea of sun = orange/warm tones.
