Suspected trader in clubsnap

Hi all,

I also had encounter with 96581532 before and very much suspected he's the same person as 96199316.

6199316 sms me several times and asked many questions about my items and, in the end low-balled (by a lot) my price. So i gave him a ticking off for wasting my time.
(Btw, he wanted to deal in the EAST area).

Very soon after, 96581532 sms me on the same item and asked to deal immediately. Never even asking about price and conditions etc..

I suspected something fishy when he asked me to go EAST for the deal and say will pay me more if i were to go down.

I countered him by asking him come over my place and i will give him a big discount. And he insisted on me going over (he just wanna trick me down and waste my time i guess).

I called him immediately and asked him if he's the same guy trying to pull a fast one and of course he denied. He says i shouldn't be selling so expensive and with the he could get other superior packages at a lower price. It's really senseless talk by a senseless mischievous teenage!

C'mon! what's he talking about?? He's just wasting my time (and everyone's time).

So to everyone here reading, please be careful when dealing. And do not hesitate to call up the person to verify.

How about banning their IP address for all those errant traders, who despite warnings, still blatantly do it? Possible to ban IP addresses anot??

I thought commercial traders are allowed under forum rules as long as they register as advertisers and pay some form of fees?

Agreed. travelled all the way to boena vista and sms him at 1036pm to ask for exact blk num....tells me that he can't meet me becos of some stupid reason.......waste of my time and petrol and sleep!!! Imagine if i travelled all the way to loyang!!!!

good thing i read about this today. i'm about to deal with this guy.

He said he will be buying a 7d for his school and when i asked why did he sell a 7d few days ago, he said its from his friend, the price is just too high so he can't afford it.

Usually i will check for the sellers or buyers contact to see the history if any from the forum. I have saved myself some hassle negotiating with some of them; thanks to the guys who shared their experiences here.

haa..his story somes crappy though. He might probably bargain further when he meet you - maybe a $1000 or less for your 7D and grip, then sell the grip and body separately for a profit. Smart but not smart enough where there are so many eyes watching.

There are many second hand traders and many tactic of getting kind ppl like u and me got conned. My case is different, the guy who bought from me whom I know do the same thing. First he offer me a trading off a new strobe with the price stated and buy back my use strobe at $150.00. Giving me cash 0f only $100.00 mention his cash was not enough and will pay back the next day. But to my surprised that never happened until now two year plus is still pretending nothing happened. How could such a being stoop so low just for only $ 50.00 Dollars. I just feel too shameful to be his friend. Regret much.:bsmilie:
