Hi Simon,

#28 is nice, have been trying to take good sunrise photo but the highlights often blew my pic. Apart from filters, just to check do u use any blending for this to balance the highlights and shadows? :) What is the best setting for shooting sun ray in your case? :) Cheers!

This is very nice! The golden rays blanket a floor of mimosa!

Thanks bro for visiting again :) Glad that you like it

Hi bro, didn't use any filter for this case . Normally , what i do , I perform 3-5 bracketing shoot with 1.3ev ,1.7 ev or even 2 ev apart (depend on situation) and blend it manually at Post to get the Dynamic Range increase and correctly expose .

However in order to get the ray , the sun got to be diffuse in some way . I actually try to position my angle and wait for the to sun to raise and block by the building or tree that is far behind (refer to #25 too . Both are taken on the same day). If I rem correctly , I did actually close my aperture to make use of lens diffraction to make the ray more prominent.

Hope that help :)

Thanks bro for sharing. I will try it out this weekend :) Anyway i enjoy your photos and i am also carrying a k5.. :)
