It had been a long time since I last do a sunrise shots. Went to East coast Park for some fresh air and morning sunrise before my work yesterday . We are lucky to catch the 1st light even though we are slightly late as we lost our way . Waking up at 4.30am do pay off after I got this shots as I do love it a lot esp the movement of the wave avoiding the brick .

K5 was still having his holiday at Japan . But that doesn't stop me . Photo Taken with K-r with Sigma 8-16 @8mm

Inspiring series. The problem with me is that I'm always too lazy to wake up early in the morning to shoot :(

Hi thanks for visiting .

For yr question , not really . Polarizer is not recommend for UWA anyway .

GND can be cope with by doing bracketing and merge during PP. The only problem should be ND filter .

I usually use camera Multi exposer mode to overcome this or my DIY filter . :)

So far still coping well I guess.

For F2.8 , I seldom shoot at that aperture for such a wide angle also . So din really miss it also .

Just my 2 cents :)

Hi Simon, can share how you make your diy filter? I am using the 12-24. Still yet to find a solution how to get filter on...

Hi alex, U need to customise the filter holder, which is the most difficult part . My 1st project was using some tian Ya holder with hood and trying to secure in place . But end up there are to many light leakage . I end up pay my friend to customise a holder base on the dimension of my lens .

Will take some photo to show u if needed :) Thanks for visiting

Did something different from my usual style today @ changi boardway. Venture to the extrem right side of the beach and this lonely old wheel swing that's being desert there caught my attention . Just when the sun was setting the light shine onto this swing bring back a moment of glory for him. Did my best to compose it hope that it does bring back some old memories that we had when we are young.
