finally gotten my first bbf. i am wondering, where can i grab a copy of the manual in english? i did tried searching online but there isn't any. i need help in loading of the film. somehow, i tried pressing the shutter but the film just won't move. tried opening and it seems when i tried turning the knob it jammed and was trying to open the cover for the film but was afraid it will break the hinges as it won't open as well. can anyone assist me here? if would be great if i can grab the manual in english. thanks a million.

sorry guys the searching for manual has been solved:sweat:. but loading of the film is still complicated. anyone with bbf in tampines or east area care to meet up and teach me?;p

er.. where's the manual :) can share?

hahaha...didn't realise the english section was behind. but i'm still clueless bout the loading of film. read thru the manual couple times but still can't get it.

The viewfinder just allow you to 'compose'. Look into it, you'll actually see a round image instead :bsmilie: so you have to agak-agak. It doesn't show you focusing unlike normal TLRs. If the hood you are referring to are those that flip up on the top to reveal the 'viewfinder'... yes it has those.
Hi guys,

ndroo said the viewfinder doesnt show the focusing... then how to take sharp pics?! cant be taking all blur blur ones right....

sorry, i'm interesting in getting one.. but this point here... its stumbles me.. hahaha

You estimate the distance then set the focusing distance before taking a photo. It's the same for cameras like the Holga & Diana. Check out sample photos in Flickr ... of course the photos can be sharp.

Oh... Icic. Thanks for enlightening me! hahaha.. I ordered for myself a BBF white! =) Hope it turns out fine!

sorry, one noob question. i realise the TLR produces a "full-frame" meaning the entire film including the sprockets are exposed.... is it so?

thanks

Just make sure you do not install the mask when you shoot ... then you'll get the sprockets exposed too.
