Where to buy a super lousy(super cheap) monopod:sweatsm: ? Any shops to recommend?

How cheap is cheap?
I got a Giottos monopod for $70 from Cathay.
I think the price is alright.
Anything below $80 is cheap enough for me, for a monopod that is.
Or maybe you want something cheaper?

super cheap? try boomstick handle. really.

handle - at most $2 (?) from hardware shop. free, if ur mom has one in the storeroom.
3/4" tripod screw - think CP, ruby or TCW got sell. or else, order from US, at most $5 (including shipping).
Epoxy glue - at most $3-4 from hardware shop.

just use the epoxy glue to fix the tripod screw on the flattest end of the broomstick handle and u're good to go.

in case anyone thinks i'm making this up, nope. i'm modifying an idea i read on nikonians.org. the other guy used a walking stick.

How much would it cost if the screw screwed up...and ur equipment came tumbling down?
Worth the risk? Even with a cheapo one?

Yeh I think TK also have the Giottos model MM9750 at about the same or lower.
