Sunset @ 7:05pm

Your photos are really good ones and what I like here especially, you have a good set of 7.05pm shots which makes whole set still more interesting. BTW, when I am typing this I remember set of morning shots in ST newspaper...very good idea.

Thank you for comments, I think 7:05pm is a good subject to work on.

I liked #11 at Labrador park - near the place where I work.

Was GND used as well?

What would be effect if w/o GND filter?

would a CPL helps to cut down the light as well?

Sorry to ask many questions coz i just started learning recently :embrass:

Yes, GND was used, the purpose was cut down the brightness from the sky and to bring out the detail from the ground, to cut down the contrast between the sky and the sea/ground.

CPL can help a little but GND will help to bring out the detail of the sea/ground.

You might want to try it out the GND and CPL to find out the result, CPL will help to cut down the reflection from the object.

Cheers.

Hi there! what GND did u use? TianYa Cokin Lee or Singh-ray filter? and what stop is it?

I am using the Tian Ya's GND for all/most of the sunset pictures posted here. F/stop, not too sure about it.

Cheers!
