So...Mr Crocodile is there... Where did you see him? Nice capture!

In the 1st pond between hides 1A and 1E on route 1. There have also been sightings near there, along the banks of the river running under the main bridge. Can't confirm if it is the same one.

Btw, there is a family of otters in the same vicinity.

Many of the birds are still there though saw lesser in numbers - probably because a couple of raptors were circling the area. However, found a new "friend" I had been trying to get a shot of on every visit but failed. Guess Sulhan's wishing me luck really brought it on.

Sorry about the twigs getting into the pic but I had to shoot through openings in the bush or get into the water (no way I want to do that).

Ah... what is that raptor? Croc or monitor lizard?

What I meant by raptor are predatory birds like eagles, kites, buzzards etc.
The pic above is that of an Estuarine Crocodile.
Below is another pic I took on the same day of a Malayan Water Monitor Lizard, which also inhabits SBWR.

Yes six of them! Caught them on video tape when I was on the main bridge as they followed the tide out to the river mouth.

Do they bite? They are so large creatures.
Last time shot a big big lizard at Chinese Garden also, maybe 1 meter long!
