looks interesting... but me juz a newbie with a simple P&S cam... dunno anyone here.

wonder wat I cld capture with my little gadget... em, who're the females joining??

hey no worries !!!!!! there should be another 1 or 2 female.. u will not be alone...

p&s cam ? can still shoot.... maybe not so much of the birds, but can shoot the environment , u can try my camera if u want...
or simply take it as a sunday morning nature walk....

This sounds interesting, I have never been to nature reserves in Singapore, now also shooting birds at the same time! Must go...
Just wondering, need to bring tripod? Or can use any tree/rock as stands :think:

hahaha........ no worries lah....... we are all nice people..... know quite a number of them personally..... no need to feel intimidated, we all need to start somewhere rite ? join join.. dun be shy....

i am using 300D... i got tripod lah.. me also cant handhold the cam wif the lenses to shoot for too long...

Also, we will meet at woodlands for breakfast then proceed to the place.. so no worries abt going hungry !!! hee......

i am gal and i use P&S.. but havent decide to join or not as i might be planning something else.. anyway u dont worry lah.. got one gal in the gp going to the reserve. btw if u wish to know some of them including me b4 going to the reserve, u can join us this sat at mandai orchid garden.. more info @kopitiam sentosa thread heehee will korkor hope u dont mind me saying this

Thx for the invite Starry! But this Sat I gotta work... in fact next Sun I'm oso not very sure if I'll be free fr work commitments too...

But most imptly, I'm nvr a "morning" person. Think waking up in time to see the morning sun will be my biggest hurdle... :sweatsm:

& oso not forgetting the dreadful mozzies! (kena ambushed by them when I went Sungei Buloh a couple of yrs back) :angry:

ahh, 1 thing to note:
clean your hand (best not to use bare hand) after applying mosquitoes repellent, otherwise it may melt the rubber on your cam or lens.
