Maybe i was too sensitive, but then felt a bit lonely there. :bheart: Only spoke to 3 or 4 people on "weather" topics. :dunno: Felt i can just go there on my own, without the need to go on the outing. :blah:
its hard intially, I had the same problem when I went for the first outing. But after knowing a few of them, I join them regularly now. From there you will know more nice fellows. Its the common interest that bring and bond us together.. :D

Not to worry that there is no conversation...haha. Constantly there is "new" ppl joining the grps and as a matter of fact, u might be new to the grp for the first time but not the next... In a way I'm a "newbie" too cos many of them do not know me. :D

I can understand how u feel....but rest assured that u will not feel alone..we r really frenly bunch of ppl..some are even talkative!

Don't have to be discouraged. In fact, the weather element is a very important and integral part of outdoor photography. Cannot downplay the importance. Eg, hear thunder, better siam and take cover....no joke and do no push on trying to reach the visitor's centre.

Actually, the idea is to get you guys and gals to get started and be hooked on nature/wildlife photography. Don't have to chit-chat much, just shoot the beauty over there. :D It is less boring in a group around, and it's a really good chance to ask questions about things you find interesting. But you may find that your best pictures are those which you are shooting alone and on a good day when you are lucky + in-sync with nature which comes with practice and research.

Harlow pple... how's the outing? Sorry... me concussed after the photo marathon yesterday, somemore gotta work this afternoon too so cldn't make it this morning. I see many of u had mighty big cams in the photos posted! Wow... looks really... intimidating... But I guess tt's the sort of gear u gotta bring to take proper pix in such places, yeah? ;p

Some of the folks ih the photo have "huge" setups...

somewhat intimidating :embrass:

Aiyahhh.... if u look at the pic properly, especially the 2nd one, I was the only one using a normal 35-80mm SLR, everyone else was using digital and f*** long lenses hahah. I still had fun and it was my first time joining the outing mah.. Don't care lah about what they have or don't have, important thing is u're there to shoot pics and learn and get some pointers. I could only shoot landscapes and flowers, and dragonfly mating in mid-air with my cam hahah!! but i still had fun. However, I think I won't be joining any outing for the fasting month, damn was I half dead by the time I reached the visitor centre after the shoot.. and watching everyone heavenly savouring their drinks was no consolation at all. Earghhhhhhh... Right after the outing I slept until my mom woke me up at 6.15 pm for my late afternoon prayers and preparing for the breaking of fast.Nisa & Zha... next time join lah, you can group with me...

Wah so fast ah reply. yes not even plain water. Just yesterday at SBWR I realised that I am not young anymore and no more reserves energy ahhahaha.. I wonder how I could fast and attended sports training in the past...luckily I have reached JBMA car before i could see stars and fainted hehe

Actually it's quite dangerous to go without water when shooting outdoors, esp for such a strenuous outing like SBWR. You have walked more than 5km if you did not notice. :)

A newbie inviting another not-so newbie... kewl :D

oh, we got almost similar setups..

First time for me to join the group... it was a good experience... although my group went lost for some time... haha :sweatsm:

It would have been better if everyone didn't spilt up... could get to meet more ppl better...

Missed most of the group. Well... I hope there's a next time.

Else, join the crazy thread... hahahaha...

so shiok..... never got to go though... after the photomarathon.. flat out till 1pm.. maybe next time... :)

Hey guyssss,

where can I download the group picture? The one where everybody's in it - at the entrance of SBWR??
