Can refer to THIS thread for some additional info.
Where you're staying is an area called Seminyak, which is just about a few km from Kuta, the main tourist 'centre'.
Personally I try to avoid Kuta like the plague, coz my idea of Bali differs from the usual pubs, restaurants, etc.
Seminyak is pretty hip and fashionable, and not SUPER crowded. Good choice!
How many days you there bro? And how many ppl going together? What kind of interests? All photo enthusiasts?

The villa looks good bro. Whats the damage like? Both my trips before I stayed in hotels. Once in grand bali beach, once at Inna kuta. Considering a villa next.

I had to do kuta the 2nd trip, since it was my wife's first. She enjoyed kuta, walking around the touristy shops and all.
But next time she wants to stay in either ubud or another quieter seaside spot.

well.. only me and my gf.. 2 person.. lolx..
damage ma.. $400 for 2 pax? not inclusive of air tickets yet.
i estimate with air tickets should be about $750 the max. all in SGD.
will go there shoot also but more likely relax ba.. i needed a break or else i'm going to break soon.. =X
