No worries bro, I understand what you meant. I am a bit of in between the two sessions, I can only be there by 12 plus or 1pm and got to leave before 5. Just wanted to do my part for this cause. I think I will do what bro DD123 had written, register on the spot and do whatever I can to help.

don't worry bro. Whatever time you can contribute to help the cause :)
I was only there for an hour or so on Sunday.
Kudos to DD and kriegster (and the rest of course) for their efforts and endurance over the 2 days

Sorry, should have rephrased my message. Any amount of time is appreciated... Our efforts CANNOT be compared to a few that I know who stayed for the full course! They are even ONz than us, bro. :)

must define the peanut first... if it's the type that they use to pay TT Durai, then I definitely can't afford :)

Err bros, we need to bring our own gear right?

Yup, unless you just wanna promote and do IT (the latter being lesser of a need).

Actually Nikon has sponsored Some camera bodies, D7000 and D300s and some 17-55 lenses and SB900s. So you can check those out also but remember to bring NRIC. You are also welcome to bring your own gear. Most people prefer own gear because the camera is all configured to our own preferences and we can work a lot faster.

Oh didn't know that! Maybe they don't have enough sets to go around... plus some are Canon / Sony / Pentax / Panasonic users... It would be too much of a hassle to adapt to a new system in a short time (all lomo shots later.. :bsmilie:)

Yes they do. Most folks prefer to use their own gear. Just have to ask if you need.

ok see how :) Mine is just the simple one that looks like a USB thumb-drive with an SD card slot. You may find it too slow (I dunno if it's USB2.0) when uploading a large amount of data.
Also see when I can meet you. Might not be worthwhile to wait. hehehe... I still haven't passed Top Gun the Markins QR plate for D80/90 yet... about 1 month liao

Well, will see then. I'm planning to go Vivo later for a mail run and some groceries shopping. Might drop by Challenger. :)

Aiyah... so wasted... should have borrowed the 17-55... at least won't be so ku-ku... and stand so damn far away with my 60mm.... :bsmilie:

60 x 1.5 = 90... hehehehe :)
Kinda like 85mm on FX... yeah rather tight if 2 or 3 people.

kriegs you have another wide-normal zoom lens right?

90mm for single or two people just nice - cut below the waist - bokeh also sui sui... but for 4 or large group... siao liao! :bsmilie:
Thought of bringing that UWA, but think the bokeh won't be that nice being 4.5 on 24mm's end. :) No worries, now I know they have 17-55 loaner... if I do happened to go down again next weekend that is. The trick here is not to get poisoned by the lens.... ;)
