BTW what are you guys doing this weekend? I am volunteering at the Clubsnap Ganbatte Japan donation drive. I signed up for 26th Mar 4pm-9pm and 27th Mar 2:30pm-6pm. Any bros wanna join me?

I wanna join in too, but maybe I help out unofficially.
Don't wanna over-commit and put myself down for a slot, only to disappoint the organizers if I cannot make it for the full slot.
The 2 slots you signed up for will be the ones that I can likely make it for at least a few of the hours.

edit: I doubt they'll require my help with taking photos, so if you can find something for me to do to help out, lemme know

I've signed up. Aiyah, I dunno how I can help out with other jobs also... all sound too cheem for me (I'm no IT specialist). Maybe when reach there can change according to needs (if can help out of course).

Yeah I tried to calm the waters a bit using 10 stop. But during the flamey sunset - it was pure desperation to capture the moment more than anything. I don't want a repeat of Bottle Tree - set up already, everything gone... :bsmilie:

I saw a Variable ND filter - some china-made ilens brand.. ND2-ND400.. and very reasonable price.. but I have not been able to find out more about the "quality"/color cast/etc... any interest?

I think they are providing the equipment (Nikon), you provide the hands and legs... Maybe provide us with entry level cams and kit lenses - no idea on this and pls dun quote me? Besides I dun think Tourists want their background bokeh-ed until siao... prolly want them all sharp sharp...or else who would know they've been to Singapore?? :bsmilie:

maybe I'm biased, but I tend not to be interested in such products. Not so much about the MIC, but the "all in one" kinda item. Notice I don't like superzoom lenses (eg. 18-200)...

Big Stopper. But stacking GND and Big Stopper no issue for me on the bamboo... works well!
