I got a bit lost trying to find the access to shooting spot. Wasted a couple of mins.
Saw the brilliant red ball as I was finally setting up. Sun went hiding behind a strategically-located patch of clouds once I was ready
No time to compose properly also. Hope I can do some rescue with the DD "auto make the setting sun appear" preset ;)

Hehehehe Wah always got additions.
Silly me always forget to add more presets. Keep going back to one of them and then doing the adjustments from there.

My PC also needs an upgrade. Feels sluggish when opening a bunch of files.

PC components usually not cheaper during IT Show leh, unless maybe buying a branded PC. I haven't done that in over 20 years :)
Now not sure whether to add more ram (DDR2 - old tech), or take the plunge to new tech with m'board, CPU and all the other bits.

ZCA, nevermind... Since Jacobs is very keen in helping you convert to Mac, no worries he will sponsor all your Mac softwares FOC.... :bsmilie: *duck*...

In the spirit of free will.... go DIY a set!!! :bsmilie:

Ever since I've changed and made my PC trouble free... I've decided that my future PC upgrades will be handled by myself (go brandless)... confidence built up already. If Larry can DIY, SOH can YOU! :sweatsm:

It is actually quite easy nowadays with all the modular systems. You can even build an intel PC and load it with MacOS.

Wah lau... that one a bit hardcore leh...
I dislike buying the 'top-of-the-line' stuff, coz I know I'm paying a huge premium for it.

Latest processors come with built-in graphics processors. Even the motherboards have DVI outputs.
Just thinking: if not going to play games with it, would a discrete graphics board make much difference?

to me it's a toss-up between adding more RAM (since it will be shared with the graphics engine) or adding a discrete graphics card.
* ok let's leave the "buy both" option aside for the time being ;)
