:nono: LOL... jap martial arts is very traditional de

We are not like the MMA just to get attentions de

Wah like that har? Saying that you will offend all the non-japanese martial arts lor... :bsmilie: Bruce Lee will be turning on his grave when he hears this lo... :bsmilie:

(just kidding okay, not trying to demean anybody's art...)

Btw, I heard from a Japanese (same U I went to) that you should say "Japanese" instead of "Jap"... to him, saying/typing short "Jap" is like an insult to them... Dunno hor he says one, maybe he's traditional... :)

Bro, some of my 'demonic' kendo sensei(s) also smoke de.

Just that you got the 'spirit' then good already can join kendo!

As for iaido, if you are interested, i can PM you to invite you in for a free trial training ;)

It's ok la.

I think I might try out taichi first.

Ya, Jap is not polite, just like how ching/chinks is not polite.

And yes, that's what I was told ... where the term "Jap" originates from... But most people these days used it broadly... like: "Hey, so you're a Jap huh?" When I hear them say that... I *face palm* and pity (as in empathise) the Japanese they were talking to... Most people are ignorant about this fact...
