Chill ZCA. I think you're about roughly a decade older than me, I'd have thought you are mature enough to handle a good joke about it. Seriously, I don't think I am "mocking" your outing, but rather, I thought the organization is rather exemplary for a non-profit outing. Why so serious? A lot of people "mock" your outing ah? :dunno:

usually mature people who find that their actions have caused unhappiness for others would have apologized and retract their statement. Are you suffering from ADHD? Then we would be more accommodating.

Anyway, all AF-D, Ai, Ais lenses will work on the F70.

Yes... if it is a Nikon F, F2, F3, F4, F5 or F6.

not sure about this but Nikon is still selling F6 and FM10.
The price of the F6 will probably make your jaw drop. :sweat:

hmm.. it's been ages since i handled film cameras

and recently dug out that camera from my dad's storage. plus over chinese new year, my uncle who's a rag-and-bone man (retired from his old job kids too rich nothing to do) told me he found an old Canon film camera as well, but wasn't sure if it's a rangefinder or SLR. complete with filters and other peripherals.

how cool is that? so i thought.. why not? haha. stir up the old interest in film from my secondary school days.

can just apply duct tape to the rear LCD

but film is still quite cool.
I can bring the 'ol FM out for a spin... must learn how to 'guesstimate' the metering. Buay zhun wan...

Ya. Original Nikon F is a collectible. F2 is also not bad. But a lot depends on condition. And you cannot expect thousands from them. The old ai ais lenses worth something too. Esp if you have the f1.2 and f1.4 ones.

be careful if there's mold on the camera. Don't let it spread to your DSLR

F6 is still used in forensics field. Film not approved in many countries for evidence in criminal cases.
