It will fit D90 or any ungripped body.. (sorry Clem)...

The mount is RC2... so if your gear head is RC2, it will fit... RC2 is rectangular.

EDIT: Don't think it will fit bro.. but there is a way around it. But you need to spend $50 more to get a RC2 clamp. See pic... the one on the right...
