just come with an open mind, not restricted to every guide, when comes to light its an art, a way of expression, may not sit well to those who are close minded... heheheheheh

no leh... just photograph each other.
If want model, then must make sure all agree, coz the cost of the model will outweigh the cost of the studio

I prefer more casual environment to learn and try out the different lighting setups.
What do you think?

I dont even do macro.. LOL... my thoughts, just stay behind the experts... after their are done with their shots, just stand at the same spot and click (make sure u have trigger/cable connected).. LOL...


With regards to who is the expert/2-cents, see pointing:thumbsd: position of thumb.. lighting is an art and we have to let the expert do their work..

as the photovest has collar.. you will have two set of collars if you dont wear t-shirt with the photovest.. so just a suggestion.. you can always have many custome changes.. like wedding dinner kind... hehhehee

I hope the strobes don't emit a lot of UV... but anyway I need the tan... mwahahaha
Studio will be very dark with all the lights off. Only the modelling lights will be on.


OK some simple studio basics:
1) The main strobes in the studio have 2 types of lights built-in, a modelling lamp and the actual flash tube. The modelling lamp (small bulb) is for the photog to actually see how the shadows will form on the model's (ZCA) face. When shutter release is pressed, the flash tube will be the one that illuminates. It is much much brighter than the modelling lamp, so overpowers the tungsten colour.
