wahh.......

no rush for the photos la... I'm sure he looks very cute... :)
you better spend more time with your wife.

Your wife amazing ya? No epi.... POWER la!

She said the painful part was the contractions during labor. After the laughing gas and pain reliever jab in the butt, she said helped a bit. During the actual birth she say not painful thanks to the LA. She is very glad she did not go for the epi.

Another couple who were here since 5pm last night, the mother-to-be went for the epi right away.

I guess, as Kriegs said, it all depends.
Gotta weigh the cons vs the high chance of great pain.
In your wife's case it was a smooth and (relatively) pain-free experience. Faster go count your lucky stars! :D

that couple that was there since 5pm... delivered already?

Bros! The eagle has landed!

Thank you all.

Very smooth natural delivery. No complications. No epi. Wife thought it was not as bad as she imagined it to be.

Baby really look like me. Wanted to upload photos then realized I did not bring my card reader or USB cable. Must wait till the afternoon. LOL. Really look like me. And big sized too. 3.725 kgs. within 5 mins of coming out, the little fella already open one eye, looked at me then at mommy.

Congrats!!!!!! Sorry to have gave you such a scare about the epi. :bsmilie:

P/S: it is probably depending on the pain threshold that each person can endure. Most ladies cannot tahan it one, I guess you have a tough (yet pretty) wife!

I think my wife's age also made a difference. Most older moms-to-be experience more pain.

I explained the options to her and she opted for no epi. She say just 'lun'

Brave!!! I told my wife she  immediately! Yes, age does play a part some how... no definite answers however.

Okay... first tip of the day... if baby cries, besides hungry or diaper full... don't forget water... (could be thirsty)...

congratulations.... now you have to learn changing diapers.... kekeke.... ;) other than changing lens....

I already know how to change diapers, I'm fast too. Used to babysit for friends and changed my nephew's diapers on many occasions.

Very proud bro. Went all the way in the delivery room.

Also just threw my pack of cigarettes in the trash as per my agreement with my wife. But she say social a bit can. Just not in front of family.

TMC more convenient also bro. I can just cross the street to 7-11 if I want. Mt A around the hospital nothing leh.

Only thing is the wireless internet a bit spotty sometimes. But we are in 2 bedder now temporarily since our single room is full. And this room is at the very end of the hall (probably furthest from the wifi access point) Moving over to our single room in a couple of hours, will see if the internet speed improves.

My wife will be 31 when she gg to deliver.. dunoe how..
bro don't worry about it so much. I'm sure your wife is as strong as you!
Everything will be fine! Must have faith!
