You'll be long gone lor...
Ya, I was quite fast and furious back then... but by the last 3 years of my US stay... I spend most of my commute in this... super reliable though... and coz I drive 3 hours to and from work at one point in time and you know spending that much time in a performance sports car can really kill you butt.

I also had a $1300 Civic station wagon POS from 1985... which I had to donate in the end and got a tax break.
But really miss the days of doing this.. ya I am the hog cruiser type...:

3 hour total la. 1 hours to, 2 hours back. That was when I was working in San Francisco and I was living in San Jose. And the traffic jam on Highway 101 is horrendous.
Back then petrol was super cheap stateside. 1.20 USD per gallon (4 liters).
Vmax not mine la... I tried it once... damn freaking fast. I think it has something like a supercharger inside.. got kick one.
wah that is freaking cheap petrol!
abt sgd 2 for 4L petrol!
haha i am nt sure abt it. nv a yamaha fan. haha
oh! haha ok ok. i tot 3hr is 1 way! u will have an iron butt man. but 1.5hr ea way also crazy... for a moment i prefer sg! small n nice. free from any natural disaster haha
haha as far as I know none are Rex owners... but better play safe and be politically correct...@akerue, haha there is also the watch poisoning too.
@ZCA, haha na i am quite gentle with my frd while on the road de. only dun like rex only, those then i will let them smell my smoke. short bust only. no point also cause their ride nt fast enuff too. juz noisy. (ps that is only my opinion on them, hopefully non here is driving one.)
yeah boy... I regret it too when I was in Sydney. So many nice places. Really breathtaking scenery once out of the city.Different kind of life. Got good got bad. If I was more serious into photography back then, I would never run out of places to go for sunrise shoot... unlike here in SG..
And there, no need dry cab. The entire state is a dry cab. and the sky... ooooo... so nice.
haha as far as I know none are Rex owners... but better play safe and be politically correct...
me not a fan of them as well. I feel that the sound (with the zhng-ed exhaust) is too hollow. Not enough cubic capacity and cylinders to give a nice beat.
For Singapore roads I think a 1.6 - 2.0L sedan/MPV is probably the most sensible choice. I wish I could psycho myself to drive a jap car though. Somehow the 'feel' does not agree with me anymore...
Anyone tried Mazda 3 or 6, or Subaru Legacy?
