The idea behind Newbies Outings is some basic photography knowledge and socializing, so that newbies may possibly make some friends. Otherwise if like me when I started, quite lonely

I like it for the strong brown tones of the rocks that hold so much detail juxtaposed against the grey background of the see which serves to further highlight the tonal detail in the brown stones so all the elements work hand in hand... for me anyway.
