Hehe, you the man, i see you are now guide in Cleonbus outing .... next time help out also leh in Sunchaser outing
lolx.. i'm not good in landscape.. will join as beginner first. Weekdays I cannot make it for Sunchaser not that I don't want. I end at 6PM. worst still at Ang Mo Kio area by the time I come down will be 6.40PM.:cry:

6pm ok wat... I leave work sometimes 6 or 615 for Newbies Outing. Rush like hell. Reach only at about 7pm. Still can catch last light... hahaha :bsmilie:

Okok, tis one gd for a start but not substantial.. Can buy lar.. try try play play..
Personally i prefer softbox on heavy duty lightstand. More concetrated and diffused.
i find umbrella throw too much light forward and spread them out unevenly, and it tends to carry wind with it, so if say on a wind location, u really need to make sure tt u got a reliable weight at the bottom of it to prevent it from toppling over..

I've seen both in action at the free "intro to studio photography" talk by trucatus...
They seem to perform quite well in terms of power and colour consistency.
After that talk, I was tempted to buy a couple of red-heads with barn doors....
But the strobes in his studio are Elinchromes u know...

Yah bros, i attented tt also.. and his beauty dish and those extras bits and pieces.. love to have but hell will break loose if my CFO see me carry those things home oneday.. wait 2 more yrs high chance i will convert one of my bedroom in my new place into studio..:lovegrin:
