May I offer some suggestions for the guidelines for the services section
1. Each member do not post more than 1 thread on the first 2 pages of the section. If the thread have been "pushed" back more than 2 pages, then it is considered quite old and the member may want to start a new thread or Up the old thread to attract attention. If there is a few services provided, they can be consolidated into 1 thread so that it will not take up space on the first page that could have listed another provider.
2. Max of 1 "Up" in maybe 3 days or 1 week instead of the current guideline of 24hrs.
The reason for these suggestions is as follows
1. If a member post a few different threads, it'll take up space on the first page (Which naturally gains the most attention). It forces viewers to refer to older pages to view other service providers, which might cause some inconvenience for consumers.
2. By limiting the frequency of "Ups", it avoids the situation where the first 2 pages is always occupied by the same providers everyday. Say, a user sourcing for services opens the section and it is "always" the same provider again and again..
Wouldn't it be in the better interest of the consumer that the first page contains all the different providers at a glance?, and once a while when they revisit the section there is different providers or new services or new additions..
For your consideration.
