Legally speaking, there is no "underaged"; hence there may not be such a need to impose an artificial age limit. Clubsnap is not playing big brother to supervise everyone and everything.
Legal age of consent? 16. IMO it's still too young.
Army age (for guys), ability to watch more matured movies? Minimum age for death sentence (means minimum age the person is expected to have a sound mind and maturity)... 18? More like it?
Consent to do what? You do not need any legal consent to shoot a model.
Very grey hard to regulate la. If you say that under 16 must regulate then what if I shoot babies or kids? Must apply for license? If you say only sexy shoot must regulate then what is the definition of sexy?
I think all we need is more awareness and also to perhaps not support so much lingerie and swimsuit shoots on clubsnap.
Whether they tell the truth is another issue liao.
It is no use to try to set a regulation when you have no means to enforce it ...
So CS mods change it in the Services Offered guidelines ... but where is the check and what is the check ...
If there is none, then what is the use of putting in these empty "threats" ....
Legal age of consent to sexual intercourse is 16...
With regards to the latest issue of "underaged" models, may I make the suggestion of imposing an age limit on models posting in the Services section?

Ask the freelance models to submit a scan copy of IC and keep it confidential within CS Admin. (likewise, we also scan our passport when sending photos to microstock sites for any potential legal matters)interesting idea. any viable suggestion (bearing in mind the resource limitations CS face) to verify if we are to implement an age limit? no point the mod team impose, and have people lying thru their teeth... and then complain to the local tabloids of people touching them?
any reasonable idea is welcomed.![]()
like that the admin and mod will be very bo eng, soon or later, either models want to list themself here or photographers want to hire models thru here will need to pay for that liao, is this what we want to see here?Ask the freelance models to submit a scan copy of IC and keep it confidential within CS Admin. Please bear in mind that there are legal implications when receiving and storing such personal information and we could end up in a worse situation.Nobody will want their ICs distributed in one way or another.

The consequences of being implicated when a young model gets into trouble by virtue of the fact that she advertises thru' clubsnap are worse. It goes beyond legal issues as the public will expect clubsnap to minimally have processes in place to ensure that young girls are protected from "lechers" using photography as front to carry out their agenda.
Guidelines must be put in place to protect vulnerable young girls who are ignorant of the consequences of their action. Clubsnap may not be legally bound to do so but society expects Clubsnap to have such a moral obligation.
Look at the personal services section and you will see what I mean. Young girls who call themselves models are publishing their vital statistics online. What relevance is the information to photographs of artistic merit? Let's call a spade a spade. The adverts cater mostly to people with the agenda of sexually exploiting these young girls thru' the pretence of photography. A lecher with a camera is still a lecher, and maybe worse. Have you also noticed that most forumners who signed up for such sessions keep their nicks anonymous? Why such secrecy if there is no ulterior motive and the session is to fulfil an artistic desire?
