dun mind me what's high and low key?

it refers to the kind of lighting...
high key means lots of key light(as opposed to fill lighting), which is the main lighting lighting in studios.
low is the opposite.

the only difference i see in the 2 pics is the color of the background. the subject is illuminated in the same manner... care to elaborate more so that we will all understand and learn together... thanks
