a lot use telephotos lens cos you can take from a long distance without people noticing...
for me i'm using my Nikon 24-70mm lens... so i have to take quite near shots at times...
most times, it's just shoot and smile for me... maybe i got a likeable/harmless face... haha...
other times if u know u are going to offend the person, it's like a quick draw and shoot situation, something like a cowboy drawing his gun... all this pics for tis thread are like a cowboy style because the uncles there can be very fierce at times... been there, done that, and got scolded... :) but just smile and hope for the best... up til now, nothing happen yet :)

the other time i went to IT SHOW to shoot, the people there kept giving me weird faces. felt a little bit uneasy. wanted to capture the vibrancy of the place and of cos, the cute showgirls:bsmilie: but never an easy task.

im using the same lens as u. heh.

i still using D200... so including the crop factor... i still can have a bit of comfortable distance of abt 36mm to 105mm which is the usual working distance for my street pictures... i get uneasy at times... but well, it's just like being a war photojournalist, the best photos area often taken when u are in the midst of the war...

No regrets with this lens bro... Sharp all the way even with my D200

#36 was looking at my old photos when i saw this picture taken in hong kong long ago... amusing in a way
