Girl in #14 looks so incredibly interesting.

What is everyone complaining about? Street photographers are natural people watchers, and voyeurism is an inherit part of that.

I think this series raises an interesting question: do average people hold different rights than celebrities? The series does evoke a feeling of the paparazzi shot, but with average people as subjects the entire purpose of the series is changed. By addressing this question dannysantos challenges a person's right to be photographed in public, ie- it is ok for a celebrity to be chased by photographers on the street, but judging by some of the replies in this thread, some people think it is not ok to photograph someone you don't know. All things considered, this series seems pretty damn 'street' to me (but would be equally at home in portraiture as well).

Just because it isn't a traditional HCB-style black and white doesn't mean it's not a 'street' shot.

This is a great thread!

Salutes to Danny.

Street photographers will always be criticized.

Street photography is benevolent, it records history, be it big things or small candids. It showcase a country, a city, people or a culture.

Sexual voyeurism, paparazzi, spying, etc, are malicious, they are different from street photography. Most people don't understand the difference, street photographers accept this fact. No problem.

Street photography is a hard genre.

Most people enjoy looking at street photos.

But not everyone dare to take street photos.

I like the tattoo couples. Good shot!

keep them coming alright bro! you're doing just fine! the lighting is wonderful for portraitures!

Would you mind if I ask,
did you use any program to edit the colours of your shoots? Because I thought the first few pictures' subjects look more vibrant.
I'm sorry, I am really new to photography and etc. Please enlighten me.

Edit: I forgot to say this, you have great shots there! Keep them coming!

Thanks man... the colors where heavily affected by the available light. These latest ones were taken when the sun was about to set, thus the yellowish tone. The batch before this was taken at about 3-4pm when the sun was bright.

Well I love your #1 - #4 especially.

One day maybe I can go shoot with you Danny. ;)

The streets and walkway of Orchard Road is lined with large tree canopies, light is filtered and diffused in a way. Sun setting cast great tones.

Either way is great!

That's true... in orchard, we can take advantage of different natural light.. be it back sunlight, or diffused light due to canopies and tries, or direct sunlight.

Maybe we can do that sometime.
